You will also be treated to Belvoir Ridge’s famous Colwick Cheese, a traditional recipe first showcased on Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast on Channel 4.

Gelato Bites: The Great Flavour Off

Tuesday 21st February, 6pm – £10

The great thing about making artisan Italian gelato is that we can experiment with whatever fresh ingredients we choose. We can make gelato from any combination of flavours, the trick is getting the balance right so it tastes great every time.

We’ve decided to put our skills to the test in a Flavour Off against another local artisan foodie – Michelle from Planet Leicester Bakers. At this Gelato Bites event we’ll be hearing all about Planet Leicester Baker’s incredible baking skills, their experimental work with bread and the way they share their skills with others.

During the evening, there will be three rounds in the flavour battle. We will take the same flavour combinations and then use them to make our own gelato and bread recipes. And you will get to taste them all and decide which is the best!

Join us for what promises to be a unique evening as two craft masters go head to head. It’s Bread Vs Gelato!
